Mississippi John Hurt, one of my all time favorites. Great guitar picker. Saw him at the Philadelphia Folk Festival around 1963, if memory serves me correct.
I never saw Mississsippi John Hurt live, put I play some of his songs on my guitar, and can understand the power and eloquence of his playing and singing.
