Von denen hab ich die Platte „The Up escalator“, die zwar ganz gut ist, aber mir zu laut war.
Graham Parker war ja ein Underdog, seine Texte waren kompromisslose Tiraden (wie etwa „Don’t Ask Me Questions“, wo er auf die Kirche eindrosch). Ein paar seiner Alben (u.a. „Up The Escalator, „Squeeezing Out Sparks“) waren brillant konzipiert, hatten aber leider eine schlechte Promotion.

It must have been interesting to work for them. Unfortunately remained Graham Parker a outsider even when he did brilliant albums.
I could never understand that. Brilliant live band.
