1. Dieses Hemd… mit Spitzen am Kragen und den Ärmeln. Aber was für eine Platte hält er da? Morrison wurde ja früh durch den Musikgeschmack seines Vaters beeinflusst.

   1. Mag sein, dass die LP aus dem Plattenschrank seines Vaters stammt. Auf dem Album „How Long Has This Been Gone“ mit George Fame aus dem Jahr 1996 hat Morrison auch Kompositionen von Louis Jordan, dem König des Jump-Blues und von King Pleasure aufgenommen.

2. Although ‚King Pleasure‘ is not a name I’d choose to describe the curmudgeonly Morrison, the rest of the blurb does sum him up, ‚Original Moody’s Mood.‘

   1. Morrison did a also version of „Moody For Love“ on „Too Long In Exile“ and a lot of old school jazz selections from King Pleasure, Louis Jordan, Lester Young on the album „How Long Has This Been Going On“ with Georgie Fame.

      1. It sounds like a good album and it’s not one I’m familiar with. I’ve seen Morrison many times going back to 1973. I also met him a few times when I was a journalist, hence my facetious remark about his moodiness.
